Construction of school building and facilities as part of a PPP scheme

In 2006 and 2007, the Deise Engineering project manager used his civil engineering expertise to direct all engineering activities during the construction of a school building and facilities, including 1500 concrete piles, structural steel, large retaining walls, sheet piling, earthworks, drainage, utilities and ground improvements.

He procured materials and plant and co-ordinated construction of all site works, including site utility services. He led and managed the setting out, co-ordinated site engineers, supervised production of as-built drawings and managed site safety file.

Our project manager successfully increased site safety and production via effective supervision of site workers and through the day-to-day enforcement of health and safety and best practices on various construction sites. He was complimented by the client for a safe site.

He actively directed engineering meetings and briefed senior management on construction-related issues.
